I know how much people despise rules, but on role-play sites, they are important. Please take the time to read through and understand them. It's a bit long, but will make this site so much better. I apologize for the length....
Of course, there are rule breakers. For those who can't follow my simple rules, I will take the following actions against you, no matter who you are:
First Offense: A warning, and deleting the post/message.
Second Offense: One week ban.
Third Offense: Deleted account with no chance of coming back.
If you continue to be a problem after being deleted, I will do an IP ban.
And now, the rules:
ONE: welcome to CAMP ONII. we are a PG-13 rated rp. this means no sex, drugs, or anything of that nature. now, i'm not saying our characters won't have sex or do drugs... just imply it instead of explaining every detail. if you need help with that, ask a staff member to explain how to do that.
TWO: we have a short word count of 200 words. it's truly not that difficult, but we've all experienced writers block. just let us know if you're having a difficult time writing. it'll be excused every once in a while. but who knows, maybe someone else will come up with something for you to use. now, some people can pop out 1000+ words a post, which is great. but if you can do that, please don't expect that from everyone. there is a word count button in the bottom right corner available to help you.
THREE: respect the staff and other members. characters will fight. a lot. but we don't need to argue with other members. it may happen, which is understandable, but keep it out of the public eye. it doesn't look good when guests come to visit our site. also, admins get the final decision on everything that has to do with the site.
FOUR: lets talk a bit about your lovely application. first, do not post anywhere within the role-play boards until your character has been accepted. second, no perfect characters. we require flaws and weaknesses on your application, so we shouldn't see this. none of our characters are superman, and therefore, none are perfect. third, characters do have children. if your characters child is 8 or older, we require a separate account to role-play them, please. fourth, after joining, you get three days to start an application. once it has been started, you are allowed five days to complete it. if you get a pending note, you have three days to fix what was asked. if you have a problem with one of those, please tell a staff member.
FIFTH: pregnancy. we do allow it. of course, we aren't going to read how your character got pregnant. at the moment, i will allow one pregnant teenager and two pregnant adults at a time. both parents must be characters on the site and pregnancy MUST be approved by the HEAD ADMIN (rachel). no other staff member may approve pregnancy. along those lines you may not apply with a pregnant character.
SIXTH: you may have as many characters as you can handle. however, if we feel that you can't handle another character, we may deny a new application until we feel you have proved that you can take care of it. just to keep our ratio of male and female characters close, we ask that for every two females, you make a male character. thank you.
SEVENTH: there will be an activity check once a month. if you haven't posted in a while, your account will be deleted. if you don't respond to the activity check, you will be deleted. no questions ask. if you have posted in the away board when the activity check is up, we won't delete you, but you must let us know when you return.
EIGHTH: i'm sure i'm forgetting things and the rules may be updated at some point. if you have any questions, feel free to ask! for now, enjoy your stay at camp onii. welcome to the site!
